In his first Encyclical Letter Magnifica Humanitas (“The Greatness of Humanity”), Pope Leo reflects on the rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on society.
There will be an opportunity for people to come together to explore and discuss this encyclical on Thursday 25 June and Thursdays 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 July at 7:30pm in the First Committee Room.
Fr John McGowan OCD will lead and facilitate these sessions, helping us to unpack the content and guide us to a deeper understanding of this significant document, as well as reflecting on the human impact of new technologies in our daily lives.
Technology must remain a tool at the service of the human person, never its master.
Pope Leo XIV
